Attack and Combat Utility Helicopter Transferred to Philippine Air Force


The Bell-412EP helicopters are likely improve security and transport capabilities for the military and would play different roles in the future. The helicopters can perform lift operations in the different parts of the country and can be used for humanitarian assistance (HADR) and disaster response.

The two additional AW-109 Power Attack helicopters  will  add-up to the existing MG-520 gunship helicopter. With both of them,  close air support capability to ground forces will greatly enhance . The helicopters were turned over, aiming to boost the ill-equipped Philippine Air Force.
