Philippine Navy Modernization - Naval Air Group reactivated 4 Islander Aircraft


The Naval Air Group (NAG), the Navy unit tasked to provide air support to the fleet. NAG reactivated the 4 Norman-Britten N2 Islander aircraft to its existing 2 Operational. The Islander aircraft  has two pilots and four maintenance crew.

Aside from the six Norman Britten N2 Islander, Philippine navy has:

One MBB-105 helicopter

3 AgustaWestland AW-109 Power Helicopter



 

Four Cessna Light Utility Planes

One R-22 Raven helicopter
